CL Booking - All CLs
15th June 2026 we will have 1600 Cls on the platform
We are pleased to confirm that CL Booking is now expanding to include almost every eligible Certificated Location (CL) in the country, giving Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) members a genuinely national way to discover CLs wherever they want to travel. This is a major step up from a smaller network to a truly comprehensive one, and it greatly increases the likelihood that members will use our platform to plan their holidays at one of our CLs.
There are an estimated 750,000–800,000 caravan and motorhome owners in the UK, and at present only around 35,000 of them are registered on CL Booking, so the growth potential on the traveller side is still very substantial. Opening the platform to more CLs allows us to appeal to a much larger share of this community and bring more CAMC members into the habit of using CL Booking as their first stop when planning trips.
For existing CLs on the platform, this creates a positive shift rather than a threat. A fuller network makes CL Booking more useful to members, which in turn increases overall traffic and the number of people who can discover your site. Our focus in the next phase is on growing the total volume of high‑quality enquiries and on making sure that, as more caravan and motorhome members use the platform, your CL is easier to find, compare and choose.
Founder recognition
As one of our original subscribers, your CL is recognised with a distinctive gold badge on its listing, marking it out as a founding supporter of CL Booking from the very beginning. This is our way of signalling to caravan and motorhome members that your CL has been with us from the start, helping to shape and grow the platform into what it is today, and if you ever step away and later return, we will gladly reinstate your founder recognition.
New ways to be a member of CL Booking
Membership packages - Subscribers or Pay As You Go (PAYG)
Subscriber package
We are significantly reducing the annual subscription for all existing CL Booking subscribers. In recognition that times are tough, we are offering to take the equivalent of the 2026 CAMC membership fee (£69) off your annual platform cost when you move onto a new three‑year agreement.
Whether you are currently paying £140, £150, £180 or £195 per year, we will bring your subscription down to just £126 per annum, so that every subscriber enjoys exactly the same, lower rate.
If a CL is open all year, it has an annual inventory of 1,825 pitch‑nights to sell (5 pitches × 365 nights). The number of nights needed to cover the £126 annual subscriber fee is therefore very low:
-
If a CL charges £10 per night – you need to sell 13 nights
-
If a CL charges £12 per night – you need to sell 11 nights
-
If a CL charges £15 per night – you need to sell 8–9 nights
-
If a CL charges £20 per night – you need to sell 7 nights
-
If a CL charges £25 per night – you need to sell 5 nights
-
If a CL charges £30 per night – you need to sell 4–5 nights
In other words, a small fraction of your annual capacity easily covers the subscription; everything after those first few nights is effectively additional profit from CL Booking enquiries.
Pay As You Go (PAYG)
We are now adding almost every CL onto the CL Booking platform. Initially these new CLs will be added as Pay As You Go CLs because we do not yet hold availability data for them and do not have a commercial agreement in place.
PAYG CLs do not appear at all until the user’s search results are shown on a map at level 3 or closer; up to that point, only subscriber CLs are promoted in both the map and the list view.
When a CL receives an enquiry as a PAYG site, they are sent a redacted email that shows all the booking details except the name and contact information of the CAMC member who is trying to book. To see more, they log in to their CL Booking account, where the enquiry appears in their dashboard with the traveller’s contact details still hidden.
For each pending enquiry, the CL can see the requested dates, the potential booking value if confirmed, and the price to unlock the full details. They can then choose which enquiries to open and which to ignore, and once they have selected the ones they want to unlock, they are prompted to pay immediately by credit card.
After successful payment, the chosen enquiries are automatically unredacted, the full traveller contact details are revealed, and the CL can proceed to respond and confirm the booking enquiry.

What happens if you move from Subscription to PAYG?
If you move from a Subscriber contract to Pay As You Go, a few key things change:
-
You lose the visible founder badge while on PAYG
Your CL keeps its founder status, but the gold badge is removed from your live listing. If you return to a subscription later, we will reinstate your founder badge. -
You lose the subscription discount and price protection
You no longer benefit from the £126 annual rate for three‑years, after the £69 CAMC discount from our annual rate of £195 contribution. Instead of one predictable annual fee, you pay separately for each enquiry you unlock. -
Your visibility on searches and maps is reduced
PAYG listings show only one photo, appear after Subscriber CLs in search results, but only show for the first time once the map is zoom in to level 3 or closer. -
Enquiries are redacted until you pay
You receive redacted enquiry emails and see only dates, potential value and unlock price in your dashboard. You choose which enquiries to pay to unlock, and only then see the traveller’s contact details. -
All PAYG Cls do not have access to Our built in booking callender. which is again included in the annual fee.
-
You may pay more overall as enquiries grow
For CLs receiving only a small number of enquiries each year, PAYG can make sense. As enquiry volumes increase, however, the cumulative cost of unlocking PAYG enquiries is likely to exceed the fixed £126 subscription.
How CLs are displayed in searches and on the map
We now have four categories of CL listings on the map. Each shows the typical nightly cost and uses a different colour to indicate the CL’s status on CL Booking

This icon shows a Subscriber CL that has no availability on the dates chosen in the user’s search. Subscriber CLs are always prioritised over all other CLs in both search results and on the map: only Subscriber CLs, not PAYG CLs, appear at the first (widest) map level. This makes it significantly more beneficial to be a Subscriber rather than a PAYG CL, as your site is seen earlier and more often by caravan and motorhome members planning their trips.

This icon shows a Subscriber CL that does have availability on the dates chosen in the user’s search. Subscriber CLs are still prioritised over all other CLs in both search results and on the map, so appearing with an “available” icon at the first (widest) map level gives your CL maximum visibility to caravan and motorhome members planning their trips.

This colour is used for PAYG CLs where we do not hold live availability data. These CLs only appear on the map once the user has zoomed in to level 3, so if someone searches by date alone, only Subscriber CLs are shown as bookable options. However, if a user runs a more detailed search, for example “Cornwall” with a date range, these blue and black icons (shown below) will appear alongside the green and red Subscriber icons.

Some CLs may choose not to receive enquiries through our platform. In these cases, we still show them on the map so that members know they exist, but when a user clicks on one of these CLs we instead suggest suitable alternative Subscriber CLs (not PAYG CLs) nearby.
