CL Booking User Reviews

We are pleased to announce that we are now introducing our new customer review service for your CL.
Customers will have the opportunity to rate their experience from 1 to 5 stars across the following areas:

  • Location, scenery, and setting

  • Cleanliness of the site and its facilities

  • Local activities

  • Likelihood to recommend your CL

You will be able to respond to customer reviews; however, you will not be able to remove individual reviews. You have the choice to display all reviews or disable the review feature entirely.

How reviews are collected


This section does not apply to CLs using external booking systems such as Anytime or Innstyle.
 

For most CLs, enquiries are placed through our system, and you then confirm or cancel each enquiry. When an enquiry is confirmed, the system records your guest’s details and the dates of their stay. After the departure date has passed, our system automatically sends the guest a unique email for that booking, inviting them to leave a review. When they click the link, a booking-specific review form is generated where they can submit their feedback. As soon as the review is submitted, you will receive an email notification with a copy of the review, and it will be published immediately on your CL page.
 

You can also manually enter bookings that you have received directly or through other booking platforms, so that availability appears on the main website and app. In many of these cases, we do not hold the guest’s contact details. Instead, we provide you with a unique link to that booking’s review form, which you can choose to send to your guest if you would like them to leave a review.

How reviews are collected for CLs using an external booking system (iCal)


This section does not apply to CLs using CLBooking’s own booking system.
 

If you use an external booking system such as Anytime Booking or Innstyle, you will need to request reviews directly from your customers. In these cases, we can see who has sent an enquiry to your CL, but we do not know which guests have gone on to make a confirmed booking. Because of this, you will need to send your customers a review link if you would like them to leave you a review.
